UT Facilities Services’ Landscape Services team along with the UT Office of Sustainability is proud to present our annual Tennessee Arbor Day celebration and ceremonial tree planting!
This event occurs on the first Friday of March each year – rain or shine!
For 2023, this event will take place on the Hess Hall lawn beginning at 11am on Friday, March 3. Our emcee will kick off festivities with a couple of short guest speeches to follow as we celebrate “Planting Future Champions.” This year will mark the 6th annual Tree Campus USA designation for UT!
Join us to be a part of campus history and bear witness to the planting of a tree that will be enjoyed for generations of future Vols to come. We hope to see you there! Light refreshments to follow.
