Frieson Black
Cultural CenterPROJECT SPOTLIGHTFrieson Black Cultural Center is an important part of Multicultural Student Life which focuses on creating welcoming and inclusive campus environments through academic support, education, identity exploration, and leadership development. Over the summer, Facilities Services had the opportunity to give this space a facelift worthy of it’s mission. As students return to campus, they’ll see new flooring, paint, and blinds in the building.PROJECT SPOTLIGHTPerkins HallThe University of Tennessee, Knoxville has seen rapid growth in our engineering programs, and Facilities Services has been tasked with making improvements that have an impact on students and researchers. Over the summer, we’ve worked to create multiple space improvements for the Biomedical
Engineering program.PROJECT SPOTLIGHTAndy Holt TowerAndy Holt Tower is an eight story building that houses much of the university’s administration units/sub-units. Over the past year, we’ve worked on multiple floor renovations simultaneously. Those renovations will come to a close later in August, and we can’t wait for you to see the results! More to come.
