Services are provided 7 days per week, 24 hours per day, to all athletic and academic facilities by Building Service Aides who embellish the role of “Essential Personnel”. This means that they come together for all emergency functions which affect University Operations. This includes Snow, Severe weather, and most importantly, Home Football Games.
Building Services provides professional APPA-Level 1 &2. This means the University of Tennessee Knoxville Campus has a world Class appearance in regards to its custodial services. Building Services supplies the following services: hard floor restoration, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, wood floor maintenance, window washing, recycling, dusting, rubbish removal, vacuuming, lavatory disinfecting, and floor washing.

Building Services uses 92% Green Products with the only exception being the use of a hospital grade disinfectant for lavatory, shower, and pool cleaning in order to give us maximum germ killing action. All paper is 100% made from recycled paper and our Hand Soap has been designed by our own UT School of Public Health. You should be assured that everything we do is done with the health of our faculty, staff, and students in mind.
