ONE CALL AWAY, 24 HOURS A DAY

The Facilities Services One Call program was created in 2011 in an effort to expand availability and increase the department’s level of customer service.

Since One Call was created, response time has improved dramatically for the UT campus community.

The Facilities “One Call” line is available 24/7 365 days of the year. Customers can call 865-946-7777, or 6-7777 from a campus phone, and speak live with a Facilities Services representative.

Staff at Facilities Services routinely fulfills projects and work orders covering a wide variety of services. These projects range from simple maintenance like changing out light bulbs, to complex renovations and new construction.

Our department employs more than 720 staff members and is comprised of a number of units including Administration, Administrative & Support Services, Communications & Information Services, Construction Services, Design Services, Facilities Operations, Utilities, and Zone Maintenance. Facilities Services staff members also oversee the university’s environmental programs including UT Recycling and the Office of Sustainability.

Although the department maintains a heavy workload, all of the units of Facilities Services are focused on taking care of students, faculty, and staff.
