Project Description

Currently the largest academic building under construction at the University (232,250 gross square feet), the Zeanah Engineering Complex will meet the growing instructional, research, and student services needs of the Tickle College of Engineering, which has nearly doubled its enrollment in the past decade. A key fixture of the building will be state-of-the-art instructional spaces and fabrication laboratories for undergraduate engineering students. Also, the building will house the nation’s 6th-ranked nuclear engineering department (its instructional spaces, its faculty offices, and its research laboratories), while providing the College with professional research suites adaptable enough to accommodate a range of engineering sub-disciplines.

Project Status: Under Construction

Total Cost: $129 Million

Start of Project: Summer 2018

Expected Completion: Fall 2021
